Job Description Junior QA Tester

Location: Andheri, Mumbai (Work From Office, 5 days a week) Experience: Internship (6+ months) or Fulltime up to 2 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in manual or automation testing and a keen interest in learning automation. Even candidates with internship experience will be considered, provided they demonstrate strong fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Execute manual or automated test cases to ensure product quality.

Identify, document, and track bugs/issues.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects.

Assist in preparing test plans and test reports.

Learn and contribute to basic automation scripts when required.

Requirements

Experience: 6 months internship or up to 2 years fulltime QA experience.

Strong understanding of manual testing concepts.

Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test cases.

Preferred: Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript (ability to read/understand code).

Good communication and problemsolving skills.

Nice to Have

Exposure to bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Familiarity with SDLC/STLC processes.

Interest in automation frameworks.
