We are looking for experienced and result-oriented Sales Professionals with a strong background in selling analytical instruments to pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical understanding, strong customer relationships within the pharma industry, and the ability to independently manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to order closure.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities and develop sales for the complete product portfolio.
Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable analytical instrument solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with QA, QC, Production, R&D, Engineering, and Purchase departments within pharmaceutical companies.
Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and customer demonstrations.
Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-ups, quotations, negotiations, and order closure.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve business targets.
Track competitor activities and effectively position products against competing solutions.
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and rolling three-month sales projections.
Work closely with senior management for project-based opportunities.
Ensure timely communication with customers through emails, proposals, and follow-ups.
Continuously expand the customer base by acquiring new pharma accounts.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional relationship management.
Candidate Profile:
5+ years of B2B sales experience in analytical instruments or scientific instruments.
Strong experience selling to pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
Candidates must have experience in selling analytical instruments to Pharmaceutical industries.
Established network with QA, QC, Production, R&D, Engineering, and Purchase teams within pharma organizations.
Good understanding of analytical instruments and their applications.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.
Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech (ECE, EEE, E&I/EIE) OR
B.Sc./M.Sc. (Microbiology or relevant Life Sciences)
