Python Web Developer (Backend)


About the Role

We’re looking for a Python web developer to join our in-office team and build high-impact features using a Python web framework and PostgreSQL. Your work will ship directly to production and be used by thousands of e-commerce businesses, shaping their daily operations and customer experiences. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where your code will make a visible difference at scale.


Responsibilities

This is a high-ownership individual contributor role.

  1. Lead and take full responsibility for backend development of the product.
  2. Build robust APIs and backend systems powering real-time experiences for thousands of e-commerce businesses.
  3. Contribute to database design, performance optimization, and overall system architecture.
  4. Own the product lifecycle—from architectural decisions to deployment.
  5. Collaborate closely with the team, communicate proactively, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.


Qualifications

  1. Technical Expertise: Strong experience with PostgreSQL and at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask).
  2. Customer-Centric Mindset: Genuine interest in solving real customer problems and delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.
  3. Ownership & Initiative: Comfortable working independently, taking responsibility, and managing multiple priorities.
  4. Automation Mindset: Interest in identifying and implementing automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
