Assistant Manager- Engineering

Responsibilities:

1. Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
2. Analyzing the processes of manufacturing and it’s optimization
3. Work on waste heat recovery and reducing the energy cost of production
4. Manage and reduce heating load and cooling load of the process.
5. Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
6. Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
7. Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
8. Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.
9. Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
10. Attends trade shows and conferences, and makes site visits to suppliers’ facilities.
11. Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.
12. Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.

Requirements –

1. A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering from reputed colleges like IIT, NIT, BITs Mesra, VIT.
2. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
3. Technically sound in Heat Pumps, refrigeration cycle, heat exchangers, energy efficiency, etc
4. Knowledge of Pharma/Biotech/Foodtech machine design processes
5. Proficient in leading rapid development cycles and adopting change, maintaining flexibility and composure in uncertain situations.
6. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of optimally articulating sophisticated technical issues and solutions.
