About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Robotics & Automation Engineer to join our engineering team working on high-speed industrial automation systems involving robotics, machine vision, motion control, embedded systems, and real-time software.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building complete systems from concept to deployment — including debugging hardware on the shop floor, developing control logic, integrating sensors and actuators, and optimizing machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
Robotics & Motion Control
- Develop and debug robotic and automation systems using ROS 2, industrial controllers, and motion systems.
- Work with servo drives, EtherCAT devices, VFDs, encoders, and industrial I/O.
- Develop machine sequencing, interlocks, safety logic, and process control flows.
- Tune motion systems and optimize machine cycle times.
- Integrate multi-axis motion systems and conveyor synchronization.
Industrial Software Development
- Develop software in Python and/or C++ for automation systems.
- Build communication interfaces using:
- Modbus TCP
- EtherCAT
- CAN
- Serial Communication
- Ethernet/IP
- OPC-UA
- Work on real-time control logic and machine orchestration.
Vision & Sensor Integration
- Integrate industrial cameras, lighting systems, sensors, weighing systems, and inspection systems.
- Work with machine vision pipelines for:
- Detection
- Tracking
- Orientation
- Quality inspection
- Support integration of AI/vision-based systems into production machinery.
Problem Solving & Ownership
- Take ownership of modules and projects from design to production.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including:
- Mechanical
- Embedded
- Software
- Production
- Troubleshoot issues independently under real production conditions.
- Continuously improve machine reliability, throughput, and maintainability.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of industrial automation and robotics.
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- ROS / ROS 2
- Motion control systems
- Industrial communication protocols
- Experience with Python and/or C++.
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, motors, encoders, and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Ability to debug hardware and software together.
Good to Have
- Experience with EtherCAT systems.
- Experience with industrial machine vision systems.
- Experience with embedded systems or MCU programming.
- Experience with robotic arms or multi-axis systems.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, backend systems, or UI integration.
- Experience with weighing systems, sorting systems, or high-speed industrial automation.

- Or related fields
