Mechanical Design Engineer:-

Were looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can turn ideas into a manufacturable reality.

Technical Competencies and Basic skills:-

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools

Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for new and existing products

Apply DFM, DFA, and DFMEA principles to ensure robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs

Perform engineering calculations (strength, fits, tolerance stack-up) to validate design integrity

Support prototype build, testing, and validation (DVP) activities

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve design and production issues

Analyze and resolve customer complaints and field failures using root cause analysis

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, andlearnings

Core Competencies:

Strong fundamentals in Mechanics and machine design

Ability to perform hand calculations for design validation

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective team collaboration in fast-paced engineering environments

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

5-8 years of experience in Mechanical Design / Product Development

Exposure to automotive, EV, or industrial product design domains

Preferred-Hands-on experience inEV motor and controller design, including component development, integration, and validation
