Tasks / Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Design & Engineering:
Perform sizing and detailed design of cryogenic vessels and associated equipment.
Prepare detailed engineering documents and fabrication drawings.
Design and selection of accessories such as valves, piping, insulation systems, and safety devices.
2. Manufacturing & Fabrication Support:
Define manufacturing processes and procedures for cryogenic equipment.
Arrange resources required for fabrication and manufacturing.
Supervise manufacturing activities for static, mobile, and storage cryogenic vessels.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans, QAP, and ITP documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as ASME and PED.
Maintain documentation required for inspections and audits.
4. Regulatory & Statutory Coordination:
Handle interactions with statutory authorities such as PESO for approvals.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements for cryogenic systems.
5. Project Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality.
Support project execution from design stage to commissioning.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for design optimization and cost reduction.
Implement best practices in cryogenic engineering and fabrication processes.
Mandatory Skills:
Expertise in cryogenic vessel design and sizing
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing procedures
Experience in QA/QC, QAP, and ITP preparation
Hands-on experience with ASME / PED codes
Experience in handling PESO approvals and statutory compliance
Knowledge of accessories sizing and selection
Strong understanding of static, mobile, and storage cryogenic systems
Ability to supervise manufacturing and ensure quality compliance
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Familiarity with FEA/analysis tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and stakeholder management
Experience in heavy engineering / pressure vessel industry

Education:
Postgraduate / Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 10–12 years of experience in cryogenic equipment design and manufacturing.
