Software Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer with 1–3 years of

experience in a product-based company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

developing and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and services that power

our applications.

Prior experience in Quick Commerce, eCommerce, or other consumer-facing platforms

will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems and services.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into

technical solutions.

● Build and manage RESTful APIs and integrations to support product functionalities.

● Optimize application performance and database queries for scalability and

reliability.

● Ensure adherence to security, reliability, and performance standards.

● Work with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) for hosting and deployment.

● Participate in code reviews, testing, and implementation of best practices.

● Contribute to architecture discussions and improve overall system design.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

● 1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience in a product-based

company.

● Proficiency in Node.js (React.js or frontend knowledge is a plus).

● Experience with frameworks such as Express.js and Next.js.

● Strong understanding of databases – SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL

(Redis).

● Exposure to microservices architecture, APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka /

RabbitMQ).

Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

(preferred).

● Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka for event-driven systems.

● Knowledge of Elasticsearch will be considered a plus.

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile

environments.

● Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of independent project execution.

● Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
