Role: FPGA Design & Validation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an FPGA Design & Validation Engineer with strong experience in FPGA design, board-level validation, and high-speed interface debugging. The candidate will be responsible for FPGA development, hardware validation, protocol testing, and debugging of complex system-level issues.

Key Skills

1. Strong experience in FPGA design and board-level validation
2. Hands-on experience with XCVR (High-Speed Transceivers) and Ethernet
3. Proficiency in Verilog/VHDL and C programming
4. Hands-on experience with lab debugging tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and Wireshark
5. Experience working with video and imaging pipelines
6. Exposure to high-speed interfaces and protocol validation

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with HDMI, MIPI, CoaXPress, and Video/IP validation
2. Experience with Spirent or other traffic generators
3. Knowledge of AMBA protocol converters
4. Exposure to Ethernet MAC/PHY, I2C/I3C, QSPI, DDR3/DDR4

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and validate FPGA-based solutions
2. Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and debugging activities
3. Debug high-speed interfaces, Ethernet, and transceiver-related issues
4. Develop and execute validation and test plans
5. Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams for system integration
6. Analyze and resolve complex system-level and protocol-level issues
7. Support video/imaging pipeline integration and validation activities
8. Document validation results and contribute to process improvements
