Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer:-

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can turn ideas into a manufacturable reality.

Technical Competencies and Basic skills:-

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

 Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools

 Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for new and existing products

 Apply DFM, DFA, and DFMEA principles to ensure robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs

 Perform engineering calculations (strength, fits, tolerance stack-up) to validate design integrity

 Support prototype build, testing, and validation (DVP) activities

 Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve design and production issues

 Analyze and resolve customer complaints and field failures using root cause analysis

 Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and learnings

Core Competencies:

 Strong fundamentals in Mechanics and machine design

 Ability to perform hand calculations for design validation

 Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

 Effective team collaboration in fast-paced engineering environments

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

 1–3 years of experience in Mechanical Design / Product Development

 Exposure to automotive, EV, or industrial product design domains

 Preferred - Hands-on experience in EV motor and controller design, including component development, integration, and validation
