Role: Backend Engineer (Python – Distributed Systems) Overview You will work as part of a high-caliber global engineering team, contributing to the development of a cutting-edge B2B SaaS product. This role involves building scalable backend systems, collaborating closely with technical leadership, and delivering high-impact features in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment Direct collaboration with the CTO and technical leadership team High-performance engineering culture with a strong focus on quality and speed Fast-paced, highly competitive technology environment Requires overlap with client time zones for effective collaborationKey Responsibilities Design and develop Python-based microservices Build and operate gRPC / Protobuf-based APIs Implement asynchronous processing, concurrency, and job orchestration Design systems with retries, idempotency, and fault tolerance Integrate native C/C++ components with Python services Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries Contribute to React-based frontend applications (TypeScript/JavaScript) Own features end-to-end: design, development, deployment, and monitoring Debug issues across application, system, and performance layers Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testsRequirements Strong experience in Python backend development (synchronous and asynchronous) Hands-on experience with gRPC / Protobuf-based APIs Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems Experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling Exposure to React / JavaScript / TypeScript Solid knowledge of concurrency, multi-threading, and system design Strong understanding of Linux systems and debugging Experience working in production environments (performance tuning, issue resolution) Exposure to C/C++ or Python-native integrations (preferred)Opportunities Work on high-impact, cutting-edge technology Collaborate with top-tier engineering leadership Contribute directly to core product innovation Take full ownership of critical product featuresChallenges High expectations on collaboration, communication, and delivery quality Need for efficiency, precision, and strong problem-solving Requirement to align with distributed teams across time zonesApply→
