BMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Attend site breakdowns and complaint calls for BMS-related issues
2. Troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication faults
3. Inspect field wiring, panel connections, and network communication
4. Maintain HVAC integrations including AHU, FCU, chillers, pumps, and ventilation systems
5. Verify communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
6. Perform preventive maintenance under AMC contracts
7. Replace faulty devices and carry out calibration
8. Take system backups and update controller programs when required
9. Coordinate with client facility teams and OEM support
10. Prepare daily service and visit reports

Field Work Duties:

1. Visit multiple client sites as per the service schedule
2. Inspect BMS panels and field devices
3. Resolve alarms and communication failures
4. Support shutdown activities when required
5. Ensure minimum system downtime

Skills Required:

1. Knowledge of HVAC controls
2. Electrical troubleshooting skills
3. Basic networking knowledge
4. Ability to read and interpret control schematics
5. Experience handling BMS software from Honeywell, Siemens, or Schneider Electric

Reporting:

1. Submit service reports after each visit
2. Update pending issues and provide recommendations
