Account Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage reconciliation, MIS reporting, and accounting operations for D2C and marketplace business verticals. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with marketplace reconciliations, and familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Reporting
2. Preparation and analysis of daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports for D2C and Marketplace business verticals
3. Support in monthly book closure, provision workings, schedules, and finance reporting
4. Reconciliation & Accounting
5. Sales reconciliation across channels including website, marketplaces, payment gateways, and ERP/accounting books
6. Payment reconciliation for collections received through gateways, marketplaces, and banking channels
7. Marketplace reconciliation including settlement reconciliation, commission validation, returns reconciliation, and claims tracking
8. Accounts reconciliation including receivables, payables, and ledger scrutiny
9. Journal entry posting and accounting entries in ERP/accounting software
10. Coordination & Compliance
11. Coordination with internal teams (operations, marketplace, supply chain) for data validation and issue resolution
12. Assist during audit, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
13. Process Improvement
14. Identify process improvement opportunities in reporting and reconciliation workflows
15. 
    

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Familiarity with Shopify, Myntra, Nykaa, and other marketplace portals and reports
2. Strong Excel skills
3. Good understanding of accounting and reconciliation processes
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams

Qualifications

1. B.Com / CA Inter / MBA in Finance
2. Relevant experience in D2C, e-commerce, or marketplace accounting preferred
