Trade Monitoring Analyst

We are seeking a focused and detail-driven Trade Monitoring Analyst with 1–2 years of experience in equity and derivatives trading, preferably in a Portfolio Management Services (PMS) environment. The role involves executing trades across client portfolios with precision, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed with NSE trading platforms, understand portfolio-based execution, and work seamlessly with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare files for execution and ensure best execution practices across brokers and trading platforms.
2. Execute equity and other permitted securities trades in line with investment strategy.
3. Monitor market movements and ensure timely execution with minimal impact cost.
4. Liaise with brokers for trade confirmation and resolve any execution-related discrepancies.
5. Prepare and send trade allocation files to the custodian/fund administrator.
6. Ensure trades are accurately recorded and reconciled with the back-office team.
7. Assist in preparing execution reports and any other relevant reports as and when necessary.

Requirements

1. 1–2 years of experience in trade execution, preferably in a PMS or broking environment.
2. Good understanding of equity markets, NSE operations, and PMS trade handling.
3. Experience with trading terminals such as NEST, ODIN, or broker-specific platforms.
4. Familiarity with PMS regulatory norms, trade allocation principles, and reporting processes.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to operate under pressure.
6. NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification preferred.
7. Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
