Job Title: Collection Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Collection Manager to lead and manage the collections function while ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues and achievement of collection targets. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in NBFC, Microfinance, Banking, or Financial Services, with expertise in team management, delinquency control, bucket-wise collections, and recovery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day collection operations and ensure monthly collection targets are achieved.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the collection team to improve productivity and recovery performance.
- Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-up with customers across all collection buckets.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquency and improve portfolio quality.
- Ensure efficient management of bucket-wise collections (Current, 30+, 60+, 90+, Write-off, etc.).
- Coordinate with branch teams and other stakeholders to resolve customer issues related to collections.
- Handle escalated collection cases and negotiate repayment solutions with customers.
- Monitor team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical collection practices.
- Prepare and analyze Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports on collections, recoveries, delinquency, and team performance.
- Identify high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and customer experience.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 5–10 years in Collections, Recovery, or Credit Operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing collection teams.
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Microfinance, Fintech, Housing Finance, or Financial Services is mandatory.
