Job Summary:


We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Engineer /Senior Field Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have experience in selling technical products to pharmaceutical companies, generating new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate new business opportunities within pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
  2. Build strong relationships with QA, QC, Production, R&D, Purchase, and Engineering departments.
  3. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
  5. Handle lead generation, follow-ups, quotation submissions, negotiations, and order closures.
  6. Prepare and submit timely sales reports, visit reports, and sales forecasts.
  7. Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and market trends.
  8. Work closely with the Sales Manager on large project opportunities.
  9. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  10. Identify and convert competitor accounts into business opportunities.
  11. Ensure prompt communication with customers through emails and meetings.
  12. Maintain regular customer visits and maximize field productivity.


Required Qualifications:


  1. B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or
  2. B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or related Life Science disciplines.


Experience:

  1. 1+years of field sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Laboratory Instruments, Analytical Instruments, Process Instruments, Environment Monitoring, or Industrial Equipment industry.
  2. Experience working with pharma manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
