We are looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant who is eager to build a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and compliance within a fast-paced business environment. This role will be responsible for managing the company’s books of accounts, statutory compliances, and tax-related activities while working closely with leadership on financial reporting and controls.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and oversee complete books of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closures.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and related documentation.
Manage TDS compliance, including deductions, payments, return filing, and reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders for statutory requirements.
Ensure timely compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions.
* Support process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
Who We’re Looking For
Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Articleship completed with a small or mid-sized CA firm (non-Big Four preferred).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Comfortable handling financial records independently and taking ownership of end-to-end accounting processes.
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems/ERPs.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to work in a hands-on environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to bookkeeping, taxation, audit, and compliance during articleship.
Experience working with multiple clients or industries during articleship will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
