having supported 157 startups across Life Sciences, Industry 4.0and Aerospace & Defence Technology.
CIIC empowers External, Student & Faculty Entrepreneurs from ideation to market launch through
comprehensive mentorship, resources, funding opportunities, and industry connections, fostering a
collaborative ecosystem among students, faculty, industry, investors, government, and society.
Building on this foundation, we are established Atal Incubation Centre - Crescent Innovation and
Incubation Council (AIC-CIIC) https://aic-ciic.ventures/ with a sector focus on Smart, Clean &
Mobility, an initiative under the Atal Innovation Mission by NITI AAYOG, Government of India,
dedicated to nurturing innovative startups to become scalable and sustainable enterprises.
Position: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Vandalur, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu
Key Role & Responsibilities
1. Developing the strategic plan and the roadmap for the AIC-CIIC as per the directions given
by the AIC-CIIC Governing Board along with the well-defined deliverables, timelines and
financials.
2. Leading the operations & activities of AIC and oversee the budgetary spending through
the PFMS system.
3. Giving the considered direction to the AIC-CIIC through building and scaling up the desired
incubation programs, outreach programs etc. and achieving measurable impact.
4. Creating collaboration with national and international ecosystems to employ best
practices.
5. Moving the AIC on the path of an independent, self-learning and self-financing
organization.
6. Steering the early-stage start-ups to growth stage enterprises in due course of time and
making the incubator sustainable in a period of 5 years
7. Forging partnership with academia, R&D institutions, industry, incubators and angel/seed
funding institutions in India and abroad for the start-ups to leverage and work towards
building a conducive startup ecosystem.
8. Organizing and conducting events and programs to attract prospective incubatees,
students, scientific community and public in general.
9. Maintaining the repository of technologies, laboratory/ workshop access and contact
details of technology developers / mentors.
10. Building a strong team with adequate knowledge and experience in guiding and
handholding start-ups, developing business plans, facilitating investments, creating and
nurturing networks.
Qualification, Experience & Eligibility Criteria Bachelors degree in engineering / technology (B.E./ B.Tech ) with Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Minimum 5 6 years full-time experience as CEO/ Senior Management in Mobility Accelerator /Startup
Founder/ Incubator / Corporate in (Automotive and Clean & Smart Mobility)
- Must be a visionary with in-depth knowledge of present Indian and global start-up ecosystems and
should strive towards making the AIC CIIC Foundation self-sustainable.
- Should be proficient with the latest PFMS portal management and financial disbursement systems
and processes.
