Senior Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python, GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), FastAPI, and Cloud Platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions, developing production-grade APIs, and implementing CI/CD pipelines for machine learning applications.

This role requires end-to-end ownership of ML solutions—from model development and deployment to cloud infrastructure and API integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, train, and optimize Machine Learning and Generative AI models.
2. Develop GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI frameworks.
3. Build and maintain production-ready applications using Python and FastAPI.
4. Develop scalable REST APIs and integrate AI/ML services with enterprise applications.
5. Deploy ML models and AI applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
6. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
7. Implement clean, modular, and maintainable code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
8. Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
9. Support cloud migration initiatives and modernize ML platforms.
10. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed ML services for performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

1. 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI development.
2. Strong programming expertise in Python.
3. Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and prompt engineering.
4. Experience building APIs using FastAPI.
5. Strong understanding of API Development, REST APIs, and API Management.
6. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
7. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
8. Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
9. Experience with Git and version control.

Preferred Skills:

1. Docker and Kubernetes
2. Vector Databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB)
3. Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
4. ML model deployment and MLOps practices
5. Microservices Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Experience working in Agile development environments.
