Senior Associate/ Associate Vice President- Product & Structuring

The candidate will be involved in supporting our clients with executing debt capital market transactions like securitization, assignment, debenture issuance, commercial paper issuance, etc. The candidate will liaison with various stakeholders in the capital markets industry to take the deal conversations to fruition.

The role requires the candidate to build cross-functional expertise in terms of understanding of analytical, legal, regulatory and compliance related to capital market products.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Front-ending deal execution. Executing plain vanilla debt capital market deals and structured finance transactions

• Financial modelling for structured debt products

• Understand the clients’ and investors’ requirements and collaborate with the internal teams in structuring efficient capital market products.

• Preparing legal documentation and offer documents for capital market issuances

• Preparing investment proposals

• Assisting in new product development

• Extensively using MS Excel and other financial modelling tools to support the Product & Structuring team in analysis.

• Handling post transaction requirements – product compliance and to maintain the comprehensive compliance database

• Liasoning with counterparties to effectively navigate on deal closures in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Qualification: MBA/ CFA/ FRM

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience preferably in the lending/ financial due diligence/ consulting space. [role of Senior Associate / Associate Vice President will be decided based on overall experience and performance during the recruitment process]

• Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, sales driven mindset is a must

• Good to have:

• Prior experience/ certifications/ background of working with capital market products/ impact investing/lending.

• Prior engagement with banks, institutional investors, multilaterals, and other global institutions

• Preliminary understanding of the debt markets and associated regulations.
