Senior Developer – AWS Serverless

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer to help build the next generation of serverless applications leveraging AWS serverless services. This role focuses on developing and maintaining modern, cloud-native solutions using the latest AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development: Build and maintain distributed applications using AWS services developed in Go or Node.js, focusing on scalable and cloud-native architectures.
2. API & Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring security, scalability, and performance while integrating with AWS services and internal systems.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with SMEs, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders, participate in code reviews, and mentor team members where required.
4. Monitoring & Quality: Use tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, SonarQube, and Checkmarx to monitor applications and maintain high standards of code quality.
5. Deployment & Maintenance: Manage application integration and deployment in hybrid environments (on-premise and AWS), maintain CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications to ensure reliability and performance.
6. Best Practices: Promote Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

1. Experience: 3–5 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.
2. Technology Stack: Proficiency in Node.js and Go, along with hands-on experience in AWS Serverless services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache (Redis).
3. AWS Integration: Experience integrating services within the AWS ecosystem using Lambda functions with EventBridge, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and building serverless applications using DynamoDB with Lambda.
4. Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS Cloud, DevOps practices, Terraform, AWS SAM, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
5. Development Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS SDK and Node.js/Go, and working with Lambda functions using Node.js/JavaScript.
6. Additional Skills: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservice architecture is an added advantage.

Qualifications

1. 3–5 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, along with hands-on experience building serverless applications using AWS services, Node.js/Go, and CI/CD pipelines.
