Manager – Automation and Robotics

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle automation and robotic operations for Injection Molding Machines (IMM).
2. Manage IML robots, take-out robots, conveyors, and automation systems.
3. Troubleshoot robotic, servo, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
4. Optimize cycle time, robot movement, and machine productivity.
5. Reduce rejection through process improvement and automation optimization.
6. Lead installation, commissioning, and trials of new robots and automation systems.
7. Coordinate with production, maintenance, tool room, and quality teams.
8. Implement SOPs and preventive maintenance systems for automation equipment.
9. Monitor machine efficiency, downtime, robot performance, and production output.
10. Support continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
11. Ensure safety compliance in robotic and automation operations.
12. Train operators, technicians, and engineers on automation systems and robotic handling.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Plastics Engineering.
2. 15–20 years of relevant experience in automation and robotics.
3. Experience in handling automation systems for Injection Molding Machines (IMM).
4. Strong knowledge of IML robots, take-out robots, conveyors, and automation systems.
5. Experience in troubleshooting robotic, servo, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
6. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive operational efficiency
