Job Overview:
We’re looking for a Software Developer (C++ expert) to join our core engineering team. You’ll work closely with traders, quants, and risk teams to design, develop, and scale systems that power trading, research, and portfolio management. This is a high-impact role with strong learning opportunities and real ownership.
Requirements
- Build and maintain robust, low-latency systems for trading, execution, data ingestion, and reporting. Latency measured in nanoseconds (one thousand-millionth of a second).
- C++ expertise across std, Templates, Concepts, and preferably C++20 in a Linux environment.
- Design modular, scalable APIs and backend systems. Deliver reliable software with bug threshold of 1 per 1200 lines of code.
- Code’s quality is rated by readers not writers. Write readable-code which self-explains - not requiring bulky documentation. Optimize existing code for performance and reliability.
- Handle PetaByte large datasets and time series data pipelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 to 6 years of experience as a software developer (financial services preferred).
- Languages: C++, Python
- Tools: Git, Docker, REST APIs, WebSockets
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, TimescaleDB
- Others: Pandas, NumPy, Linux, Shell scripting
- Communicate effectively without jargon. Verbal and written.
- Passionate about building systems that work under real-time pressure
- Collaborate with team members showing evidence of delivering solutions to business requirements. Ability to collaborate across teams and take ownership
- Willingness to learn financial concepts if not already known. Bonus: Knowledge of market data systems (e.g. Kite API, LSEG, FIX), or experience in trading/quantitative finance .
